Club Rules
  1. Members must enter through the main entrance and present proof of membership when entering. Memberships are not transferable. Members 9 years and older who have passed their swim test will be admitted to the club without a parent or guardian.

     

  2. Guests to the club must be accompanied by a member. No person may visit St. Albans Swim and Tennis Club as a guest more than five (5) occasions in one calendar year. Inactive members are not permitted to visit the club. Violators will be invoiced as active members. Members with outstanding account balances are not permitted to visit the club in any capacity. Violators are subject to forfeiture of bond and membership privileges.

     

  3. Swimming is only permitted when a lifeguard is on duty. Swimmers must obey the lifeguards at all times.

     

  4. St. Albans is a smoke-free facility throughout the entire club. Smoking is prohibited.

     

  5. Proper swim attire is required at all times. Children who are not toilet trained are only allowed in the kiddie pool and must wear swim diapers. No swim diapers are permitted in the middle or large pools.

     

  6. No glass, sharp objects, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or hazardous materials are allowed. No pets of any kind are permitted on club property.

     

  7. No gum, food or drink in the pool area.

     

  8. Running, vulgarity and rough play are prohibited in the pool area.

     

  9. Children must pass the deep water test in order to be in the middle or main pools without an adult within arm’s reach. Only children who have passed the deep water test are allowed in the diving tank.

     

  10. The kiddie pool is for ages 5 and under and children must be supervised by an adult at all times. There is no lifeguard in the kiddie pool.

     

  11. Diving is only allowed in the diving well. One person is allowed on the diving board and steps at a time.

     

  12. Only Coast Guard-approved flotation devices are allowed.

     

  13. Persons with contagious or infectious health conditions are not allowed in the pool.

     

  14. Playground equipment on the middle level of the Club is unsupervised and the sole responsibility of parents and guardians. There is no guard on duty in this area.

     

  15. Patrons use the pool at their own risk, and management has the right to ask any patron to leave for non-compliance with these rules.
